First off, I wanna make clear that anything sarcastic I say out of context you should take lightly. AKA Plz don't ban me. Again.
Well, I just noticed that I'm able to make threads now since I did a thing, so I'm taking this oportunity to ask the users of this website which hold more collective credibility to them than users from a site like YouTube to ask one simple question, is this gen your last? Or at least, are you planning for it to be your last? Since the next-gen jump last year PC gaming has taking been taking a significant boost in users and income, or atleast that's what I've been hearing, which makes sense, considering all the benefits that come off with making PC your primary platform. This doesn't mean that consoles are becoming obsolete, or outdated in the eyes of the general public, but it means that more people are starting to realize that they could be better off with a PC as their main gaming platform, and this is something that is really becoming a standard since a lot of PC-gaming dedicated websites are starting to make PC gaming seem a lot more accessible than it ever was before; Valve is very busy making Steam machines to come bundled with Half-Life 3 to increase sales, Nvidia is making what the Sony wished the Vita did with the SHIELD tablet, and websites are starting produce laptops capable of gaming and advertize that as a selling point, do you think that all of this will cause PC gaming to be a lot more populirized in the coming years? If so, are you going to eventually follow "da PC hype" and join the mmorace? Are you going to keep buying underwhelming Nintendo consoles since the only reason to own a system of theirs is exclusives?
Now, this is personal territory here, but I've been planning to join the greatness that it's the freetoplayrace for a while now, since 2012 as matter of fact, I'm not really sure when I did join Steam, but since then my 360 hasn't feel a single touch of mine, it essentially became my brother's, he's young and watches Minecraft rap videos, so I felt that the console would be a perfect fit for him, but ever since I joined Steam, I just don't think that I'm ready to return to the limitations a console forces upon me. I currently play on a laptop with somewhat decent specs, but I've been planning to build my own PC for a while, I got a laptop for the sake of convinience, since I'm entering college soon, I'll need something to work on if needed, but the thing is, I'm not really someone to expect his parents to buy him everything (I'm 17 btw, u oldies.), I normally work for my stuff, so with all this into consideration I've decided that I can't spend in something so expensive as a GOOD gaming PC, at least not now. WHAT I CAN AFFORD TO SPEND MONEY RIGHT NOW is a console (In NA at least, the damn things cost nearly $550 here on Mexico), and I don't think that'll change for a while, at least until I get a job, which I don't expect to be getting anytime soon. (I'm not lazy, shut up.). So, I wanna know, what's your take on this? Are you on the same boat as me with this console generation being your last? Am I alone here? Do you think that I'm a PC fanboy? Do you give a shit? You don't? Let me know! Criticism is mostly appreciated, mostly. AKA Plz don't hate me.
I'm now filled with determination.
