holy shit that looks real to me, i hope they now improve it in the game but i dont think they can use that model ingame , its too good to be true.
anyone have some link of that in video?

They won't. Google "Level of Detail" for more info on that topic.

I've learned years ago not to believe any early reveals when it comes to sony. First they show a 60 fps trailer... then this last one looks like 30 fps.. not to mention all the other fake reveals that they never were able to match in the final release. When I see someone actually play the game, I'll believe what they show. And not some sony suit on stage claiming it to be the real thing, but journalists actually playing it, or people at e3. I have no doubt the game will be great, but people need to stop falling for this.. for 20 years now.

Drive Club says differently, seriously look how the improvemnet of Drive club on E3 2013 and then compare it on the release version and better yet the weather pacth. It look 3 times better almost like a generations leap.

No game does as seen with the ZeldaU trailer back in 2012.The U4 in game looks much closer to the U4 trailer though.

That was a tech demo, not a trailer, and Zelda U looks infinitely better that it.

Uhh not right now it doesn't. The footage they showed didn't look so hot graphically, and it certainly didn't look as good as that tech demo.

Level of detail is about decreasing complexity as the model gets further from the viewer.

More than likely the full model will only be used for cutscenes, but that doesn't necessarily mean that we know for sure that it won't be used for gameplay closest to the viewer.

Yeah, the full model is gonna be used in every cutscene. For the actual game, considering the low resolution and style of gameplay, I'd say that at most they're gonna use one that's 1 notch down from the full thing to achieve max efficiency.

Drakes Fortune, Among Thieves, Drakes Deception and a Thiefs End.

Not sure where Golden Abyss goes lol

Well that explains it. I wish people would just call them Uncharted 1,2,3.

At least Among Thieves is easy to remember because it's clearly a reference to the phrase "no honor among thieves."

It looks so, so much better than the tech demo. It's pretty difficult to directly compare the recent Game Awards footage to that old demo though. What would you compare? The E3 demo focused heavily on Link's character model and a boss enemy in a dungeon-like environment. The Game Awards footage doesn't give us a close-up look at Link or any enemies at all, and it's set in a very grassy overworld. There's no grass, trees, or horse in the 2011 demo to compare to the recent footage.

No common elements at all. To boot, the 2011 demo was actually (in part) shown through direct feed as part of the general Wii U trailer, whereas our 2014 footage was shown off-screen from several feet away.

If you compare Link's model in the 2011 demo direct-feed to the that in the 2014 E3 trailer, it's no contest. 2014 easily blows the old one away. Especially looking at his hair.

The overall look of the game. the 2012 tech demo looks miles better than the footage we saw at the game awards. Sure it was off screen footage, but it looked incredibly rough. Not saying the final game won't look better, but for me personally the tech demo looked better than the recent footage.

There was no 2012 tech demo. The demo you are thinking of was shown at E3 2011.

As I said, there were no common elements to compare between the two. What single thing did you see in the 2011 demo that looked better than the same thing in the Game Awards footage? I'm afraid "the overall look" isn't going to cut it, because that just makes it sound like you prefer the 2011 art style.

idk when it was there were two trailers. One with the spider and one more recent one with that awesome screenshot of the landscape.

That looks way better than the weird looking open world they showed at TGA. It's just my opinion, no need to get angry. What they showed before looks much better than what they showed in game. End of.

I'm stopping it there bud. This is an Uncharted thread not zelda. It's getting late and I'm going to bed soon. later.

I disagree.
