You can skip all dialogue everytime you want, but I bet you won´t want to replay the first stage, when you play the others. As for me, I found it a very enjoyable remastering, although I don´t think it stands well as a retail game because it´s not a long game and it doesn´t have much content. I bought mine digital (I do understand that collectors will prefer the physical copy) |
I actually decided that it was annoying on the amazon level. "Oh look, this coin has this sign and yadda yadda yadda yadda....."
So for me it didnt get better.

I wish they would make some new Duck Tales platforming games, the 2 for NES were great :'-(
I tried it. I wasnt impressed either OP. I gave it a bit more than 10 minutes though.
Played it and castle of illusion... liked both really much.

Game was great. Enjoyed the voice overs too as it is based on one of favourite shows of all time.

sry for my bad english - it is not my 1st language
I thought it was ok i played it for a few minutes never touched it again. It was on sale in the eshop a few months ago so I bought it.
Never played the NES so I do not know how it stands up against that.

I see...maybe I don´t feel annoyed by the voice acting like you feel because English is not may first language and I was used to the Brazilian voice acting when watching the show back in the 80´s .
By the way, have you watched the tv show back then? I found it amazing that they made all the voice acting using the original actors from the cartoon.

I watched the show in German and loved it. However, I do not have any nostalgia related to the voices in English, as the show had German voice actors. And since I dont know anyone who is calle "Uncle Scrooge", I dont care for the story stuff. If the had the German voices and called him "Onkel Dagobert", then it might be different.
