No wonder PS4 is selling better.

PS4 has no games!!!!!!

Only compared to Xbox One, which has all the fun exclusives.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

You are counting all those small indies, not to mention counting dlc as another game. Also not all of the ps4 list was published by sony. When looking at the last of old and new ip I have never even heard of the majority of that list or they were already available on pc. Basially MSFT should skip AA and just put a majority of their resources into id@xbox. I don't hate indies, but saying indie=AAA or AA, I don't understand that. For example this list is saying Flower counts as much as uncharted.

I wonder if the 1000+ indies on 360 were counted line they are now.

Also if you are going to count all those indies on ps4, how are you not going to count all the id@Xbox games like cuphead, superhot, smite, Inside, space engineers, plague.....

1. So, they are still published by SCE? Indie games is still GAMES.

2. Infamous: First Light? Yes, because it's standalone dlc - what that means is, that you don't have to own Infamous: Second Son to play it. Basically a standalone game.

3. I can assure you that, all the games on the list is published by SCE. But just for the fun of it, let me hear which isn't?

4. So, let me get this right. Just because you have never heard of the majority - they don't count? Or am I mistaken?

*List*

Are these games that are specifically published by Sony?

If not, I think you forgot a few games for PS4.

Guilty Gear Xrd (Released in Japan Dec 6, coming to US Dec 16.)
Persona 5 was also announced for 2015 release.
And a new God of War was announced, though I don't know about it's release date.

Yes, and they have to be published by Sony in NA.

God of War is on the list?

Yeah, the thing is that there are just more games coming at more consistent intervals on the PS4. Microsoft to their credit has done well, but with Sony, they spread it out and there are just more. I really don't understand how the narrative of PS4 not having games became a thing. It just seems so counter to reality. The internet can be a strange place.  If you account for the PlayStation Experience announcements, there are over 400 titles announced for the system.

Another fantastic post LordLichtenstein

I find it quite interesting to see how Sony spreads out their games throughout the year. It seems like Sony has the mentality that the holiday season will push their consoles and third party studios tend to release their games at this time. Instead of having direct competition with those annual holiday games like COD, they release their other games throughout the year to maintain a healthy baseline.

Microsoft realllly has it all backwards. Releasing all of their games during the holiday season causes direct competition with themselves. Not to mention that Sony has proven that you dont need new games to move consoles during the holidays (Last of Us and GTA).

I totally agree. I find it weird that they would release their games this why, because wouldn't it somehow hurt their 3rd party relations?
