How do so many people prefer a photo (admittedly a nice one, although little artistic merit) over Van Gogh? What is wrong with you all?!
Ignoring the metaphor between realistic and stylistic approaches to graphics; it's Vincent Van fucking Gogh, possibly the greatest artist who ever lived!

This is obviously a Dali crowd here. Those sunflowers look too close to reality which means he pretty much failed to capture their real nature. So we pick the photo because it's at least not pretentious.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
