IMO,

Hyrule Warriors features some of the best designs of Zelda characters yet!

Impa looks amazing, I never liked the way she looked in Skyward Sword. Wasn't she enormous in the Oracle series?

Zelda looks mature and cute, I'd say like a mix between Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess.

To me this is the best looking Link we have seen so far and the same with Ganondorf. I find Link and Ganondorf to be so weird looking in the new Smash Bros., but Hyrule Warriors designs to me are so cool. I wouldn't mind a full Zelda game with designs like these.

What do you think?

I haven't played the game yet, but everything I've seen on it convinces me they need new blood in the development teams. What's basically an "official fan project" features some of the coolest stuff the series has ever seen. We need new ideas and designs like this. Ganondorf in particular is SO AWESOME. I'm sad that the design isn't in an actual Zelda entry.
