The game was handled well but it just does not look fun at all, TO ME (I am not big on puzzlers)

if AAA dysfunction is that big a concern, just get AAA from reliable developers/publishers. This is gonna sound forced, but Naughty Dog comes to mind. There are so many more trustyworthy ones I just can't think of right now.

Not really forced at all. Can't remember a bad game from naughty dog. If only 343 could be half as reliable.

I really have no idea what the title means. It seems to be more a part of the OP's agenda than the original article. Smaller games continue to be made, just as more ambitious games continue to be made. Both should exist and I enjoy selections from each type.

I get the impression that this is just a soapbox thread so the OP can complain about games he doesn't like.

This. This right here.

Thanks jlmurph!

Well, with my PS fanboy signature, I wanted to name other, non-sony affiliated companies but nothing came to mind.
