Tetris Axis is going to be removed from the European Eshop until the end of the year.  There´s still no word about America´s Eshop, but there´s no advice on it.

I´m thinking that this may have something to do with the recent launch of Tetris Ultimate from Ubisoft

Has anyone downloaded Tetris Ultimate? What do you think about it? Did you like it? Would you recommend it over Tetris Axis?

Yep. It´s on Eshop right now (at least in Americas).

I´m on the fence about Tetris Ultimate. It´s more expensive than Axis and it seems like a rushed game from the videos I saw.

It has indeed, physical version too. Looks like it's the Vita version that has been silently cancelled.

Companies might still be fighting about Tetris! :O

True, true, true. 

I feel dazzled about this. I decided to give it a go..... and what a waste of money. It´s not as good as Tetris Axis, it´s kind of a generic compilation of traditional Tetris modes  over an everblue background. No Tower Climb, No Fit, no  Jigsaw or Bombliss mode. No options for background/music customization. Just plain Tetris....... for a higher price.
