Oh those 500+ battles also include For Fun mode. Wouldn't make for a very interesting list otherwise considering For Glory mode right now is literally 25% Lucina, 25% Captain Falcon, 15% Ness, 10% Mario, 10% Yoshi, 5% Shulk, 5% Sheik, 5% Other. Okay exaggerated but you get the idea!

Interesting, in my experience most people I have played against used, Rosalina, Greninja, Lucario or Mac.

One battle with her out of 500, and the guy was just changing characters after every match! I haven't even had people switch to her just to try and spite me or something which was common place on the 3DS!

It's time for Little Mac to disappear. He's simply to overpowered on the ground and the only way to win is to spam throwing him of the stage = no fun.

I only once saw a Villager appear in For Glory and I've done about 300 battles. It's fun to win with Villager since he's my main and probably nobody expects me to be good with him.

Except for me! All Villagers I've gone up against have been pretty solid, so I always expect the Villager match-up to be a good fight!

It seems people really do prefer the realistic style over the cartoony one since the original Link is being used a ton now. I also like Toon Link better though!

You don't see her around all the time but she's actually a fairly common sight (far from being all over the place, but still).

Edit: and it's not about being a "hipster", it's just that I don't want everyone to be playing the character I love


Are you saying you have more than anecdotal proof, cause there's pretty much no other way to tell how much a character is being used unless you work for Nintendo.
