I play a mobile game where a single card pack has cost $100 for a single pack.
This isn't the tip of moutain.

So will every ubisoft game have micro transactions?
PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850
I think this game has a season pass option for an additional $40.oo (U.S. dollars or thirty,I don't know,... I skimmed right by trying not to even look at it.)
Anyway, that's a spendy game adding up those figures being:
$-Retail game purchase
$-Season pass
$-DLC currancey
Being optional isn't that much better about it because the games core fundamentals are changed to have difficulties when playing normally. Alloting more enjoyment by paying to change the core fundamentals. Like getting better suspensions, engines, or faster vehicles by paying DLC money when playing the game from a normal gaming way would have netted the player enough in-game money to buy it any way.
Mircrotransations are the fucking devil; any game that has those I will never buy.
They belong on free games.
DLC can be done well but, most companies fuck it up.
