Forums - Sales Discussion - Fantastic Sales of Driveclub on BF weekend

Dear Chartians,

It isn't annedoctal and we have a partial report on this (UK having 999% increase wow) but I'm certain we got a massive increase WW.

My secondary player were around ranking 350k (just 20k points, while my main have 13,5M and is around 6k in the rank), but now my secondary account gone to over 500k. so that is a increase of 30% of the fanbase in just one weekend. And that is just from people that have connected their games to internet to be ranked.

Anyway it's massive improvement and with the right bundles it surely can go over 1M LT.

Celebrate.

Yep, quite the pleasing racer to go... only if it didn't had so much grinding to finish the plat.

Yea, i'm really enjoying it, the online is absolutely amazing fun. Pretty close to the plat now but won't be obtainable until they patch the challenges which have been down since launch.

You can grind all you want, the plat will be unavailable until challenges are enabled.
Credit where it's due took the longest to get, I unlocked it on oct 19th. It didn't feel like grinding though. I reached level 50 the day before and have over double the amount of fame already (37m)

Challenges must have worked for a bit at the beginning. The trophy to send out a first challenge was at 0.5% when I got lvl 50. It has now dropped to 0.2%. The user base has grown quite a bit.

You have a great name Don-Ferrari85, it is very fitting with this great game. Playing online against you would be fun because any car you're in, and you pass them, they'll say they got passed by a Ferrari.

I've only won a couple of online matches. Mostly other players I've played against could brag about beating a RidingMower.

I know about the challenge part. And the 2 DLC expansion helped out on the not grinding.

Just saying that the grind for "credit where it's due" and them to finish level 50 is the only bother I have.

Agree with you, and probably after I finish grinding today I'll be just in the cusp to receive the challenges release and plat =]

I don't play much competitive and I am bad at it... but sure if you want you can invite me.

I'm glad you don't need the time trial accolade for the platinum. I have all the accolades except the location ones and time trial is only at lvl 2. When I start a time trial, I'm lapping for 20 mintes to an hour. Drift challenges only last 20 seconds to a minute a go. Seems they didn't take that into account.
You level up fast with those accolade bonus points, some are worth half a million or more for completing. Plus you also have the club bonus. I'm slowly losing ground on the global leaderboard since I ran out of bonus points to get.

Btw that Renault twin run concept from the free DLC seems a bit out of place when you race against it. It was way ahead of the pack in a couple races I did today. Friggin hard to catch.

The fast loading times and instant restarts keep me coming back to this game. It's the ultimate go to for a couple quick races.
