I think you should change the minimum dollar amount for the game. If a game is on a wishlist that is under $10, we shouldnt have to buy a game they might want over $10 when they clearly want a game thats $6.99.

So I think it should be changed to " Minimum is $10, or a wishlist game".

Join anyways! If you don't want to make a Steam account, you can always make a GOG account instead.

That's something to consider for certain, but I think we settled on $10 because there are so many games (and DLC) worth $1 or less, so reaching $10 is always pretty easy.

So what about a Wishlist game that they actually want thats $3.99?

You can pick that one up, plus one (or more!) others as well. I think a lot of users end up getting two or three games for their Tims; I know I usually do.
