All of them are preferences but I like the setting in Far Cry 3 better and a lot of the characters in Far Cry 3 are more memorable plus the story was better too. The game mechanics in Far Cry 4 maybe better but as a whole package Far Cry 3 nailed it out of the park ...

In terms of mechanics and fidelity, Far Cry 4 is an evolution of FC3 and clearly superior.

However, things get murkier in terms of setting, characters, and story. That's a toss-up based on preferences.

Far Cry 3 is ultra cheap right now on Steam, so if you have a decent PC go with that.

If not, Far Cry 4 works too.

Depends on what you look for. Gameplay wise FC4 is the evolution of FC3 and surpasses it in everything. If you're looking for story or interesting characters FC4 has none while FC3 has everything.



If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
