A hogwarts RPG/Adventure like bully could be cool and back in the day that was what I was dreaming of. Probably missed the boat though, Harry Potter was it's most popular along time ago. Although isn't there some extended universe stuff coming out soon? could reignite interest.

Thereis the Trilogy for, "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them" coming out soon.  Which takes place in the HP universe...its a prequel of sorts.

OT: I usually dont ever play MMO's but I would play this in a heart beat! There is sooooooo much potential. Like you said there is much more then just wizards there are so many diffrent classes of people in the wizard world, so many diffrent schools, places to explore, foes to battle etc. I think it's an axcellent idea if a game developer really put thier time into it!

It makes me wonder why no one has done it sense Wizard 101 is super popular. All they would have to do is create a game exactly like Wizard 101 just  add the  Harry Potter licensing and BOOM you have a monster hit! Although I hope they dont do that, a dedicated Harry Potter MMO sounds much better.

PS Experience confirmed? Honestly I never actually thought of a HP based MMO lol.

I have NO IDEA why this isn't already a thing. Heck, don't even make it a traditional PC MMO, make it a tablet social game or something. Not saying I would prefer that, but the fact that they haven't done it is baffling. Some sort of game where you're a wizard and there's tons of wizard stuff to do with other people, probably an RPG. Social games are so freaking huge.

World of Witchcraft?
Seems like every big franchise of the 21st century got an MMO: LOTR, The Matrix, Star Wars, Star Trek, even Pirates of the Caribbean. I don't play MMOs so i dunno, but I know a bad MMO isn't going to do anything for the franchise, and MMOs in general don't have the best reputation among the public. I also doubt Rowling likes the idea.
