1.Dreamcast-arcade machine, that could go on-line right out of the box, with motion sensitive controls and the best ratio of great games vs clunckers of all the consoles

2.NES-the start of the golden age of gaming,a ton of new franchises, simple but fun

3.PS2-so many great games,so many bad games,you have to watch what you buy due to many of the best games are hard to find,or quite expensive.

4.N-64-most of the games were either really good or really bad, very few were average. Some of the good games were the best of it's generation, just not enough of them to raise the system up to the others.

Dreamcast, what can i say... its Sega

sony had a motion sensor controller in 1999, with the original warhawk. 

 Not Sony that was a third party controller from Pelicon and they had one for N64 also and one year before that MS had the Sidewinder.

I'll say Wii...

I know, it's only 15 months old... i know, there are only 5 or 6 really outstanding games till now... but these games and some other "ok" ones gave me my best gaming moments for years and years... it all feels fresh, intuitive, and so much fun once again... and that's priceless...

Now, i find all the other home-console games "dated", so much that i can't even think about goin' back to the "trad" control method, even for most of VC games... i just wait for more AAA Wii games, and enjoy every moment with the ones i already have...

I didn't try out yet the wii, yes yes I know, but if it could make me feel when I was like five and grabbing the snes and playing, omg I would start to cry right there XD, I would have to say snes, or nes, hours and hours and hours, I liked gamecube also cause so many games of 4 player :) also gave me great moments :D.

my fav system of all time was the Sega mega drive, I spent countless hours playing that thing, my second fav console has to be the PS2, and my fav console out right now goes hands down to the PS3.

I love that masschamber brought up the Vectrex and the Odyssey 2. Awesome. I love both of those forgotten classic systems. Not cool that he mentioned the Jaguar. My eyes still hurt from it. Number one is N64 for me but Wii is catching up extremely quickly. Man do I love my Wii.
