Sonic team had a lot to do with the appearance of the new Sonic Boom characters, I don't see why they wouldn't be working with them?  This should be what Sega is pushing since they have a TV show about it going on.  Your right Sonic Boom is intended as a spin off, I forgot they said that, even so my idea still works, just emphasize modern Sonic as the main Sonic in the game, just like he was in the first Sonic Generations.

If they say it won't happen, it won't happen. Sonic Boom is way too far off from Modern Sonic.

And by the way, you're right that Sonic Team helped a little to develop Sonic Boom, but that doesn't say much.

My idea doesn't have him replace modern Sonic, it has them both in a game together, hell maybe even throw classic Sonic in there for some old school 2D levels.  And like I said they can emphasize modern Sonic as the main character like in the first generations.

As I said, the gameplay in Sonic Boom is too far off from the Modern Sonic gameplay you see in Generations. It wouldn't make sense to mix the two together in a game at all..

Alright, we all should know by now that Sonic Boom was rushed, abandoned by it's devs during development, and turned out to be a worse game than Sonic '06. However, it was made by Big Red Button, a company made of Ex-Naughty Dog employees (I can see why they are EX-Naughty Dog employees now) and not by Sonic Team. In the past few years Sonic has been a yearly franchise, 2010-Colors and Sonic 4, 2011-Sonic Generations, 2012-Sonic 4 Ep 2, 2013-Lost World, 2014-Nothing, this means that Sonic Team had an extra year to make this game, and this is why I have high expectations for the Sonic game in 2015. What are your thoughts? Will we get another amazing game like Generations and Colors? Will we get a game that has mixed opinions like Lost World? Or will we get another game like Sonic Boom that has an average review score of 3/10?

BTW what I hear they were graphics designers at ND. Not game designers at ND. Its a big difference.

Well I wouldn't have the gameplay from Sonic Boom in there, that was horrendous...

Then why would you implement the scarfed Sonic in the game? If you're going to change the gameplay style there is no reason for scarfed Sonic to be in there at all because he's supposed to represent the Sonic Boom franchise (just like how Classic Sonic was supposed to represent the earlier Sonic games), and if you're not going to change the gameplay style the game is going to suck.

There is another reason why: SEGA has typically used Nintendo exclusive Sonics as experiments for Ideas they wanna use in the next big Sonic game. Colors, Lost World, and Secret Rings served that purpose. Not only do have more time than normally, they dont have to run risk of good on paper, bad in practice ideas being the fall of what is suppose to be the big one. Also, next Sonic could be adventure 3, or adventureish. Hummid P(knuckles music) let it slip, Iizuka said he ideas for another adventure like game.

The next Sonic game will be the highest selling Sonic game since unleashed. Beans were already spilled that 2015 Sonic will release on ALL consoles and history shows Sonic is full multiplatform it always does close to 5 mill.

here is why

They took all the bad stuff that was lying around and made the Nintendo exclusive games.

Only the good stuff is left.

New Sonic Game                                                                Prior Sonic Games.

There will be no Sonic game in 2015. Sega will focus on healthier franchises.

Sonic Team has never made a 3D game that wasn't bad. I wish Sega would just tell Dimps to make a 3D version of Sonic Advance 2. No boost. No homing. Just running, jumping, and momentum. Roller coaster level design. Enemies used as just obstacles. That's what 3D Sonic should be.

I haven't watched the TV shows, I don't know anything about scarfed Sonic, even so I'm sure Sonic team can do a better job making a better combat system for him than the broken team at big red button.  Even if its just having him have unique ways to traverse levels with that laser thing on his hand that I saw in the game and giving him an extra attack that none of the other Sonic's have, but focus on speed and platforming and not combat like big red button did.
