Forums - Sony - Sony Pictures Paralyzed By Computer Hacker Attack With Ominous Message

Must be the Marvel fanboys wanting the rights to Spider-Man movies to be back with Marvel Studios.

Wow. That is super incredibly mega serious, if true. :O. This isn't even funny. Someone wants SONY to go bankrupt I believe. Whoever done this needs a life.

But geez, in how many hours will they release all of thier "data". What if we know the very first details of PS5, or future games, or prototypes of future tech. Maybe Smartwatch or something.

Edit: LMAO! Though this was all Sony, but it's just Sony Pictures. Ok, not as serious as it would be if every part of Sony got affected. That's something positive.

Well if Sony (just theoretically) did something really wrong to e.g become big then Sony needs to get a life and the hacker needs to get a billion dollars for finding out.

But again just theoretically.  Jumping to conclusions  and hating on someone without understanding whats happening is not the smartest thing to do.

There are some real odd issues with this:
1. How do you hack everyone compuyer... doesn't seem legit.
2. Why would anyone hack Sony with political propaganda, GOP stands for Republicans.
3.The GOP aren't know for their technical prowess.

You just need someone from the inside and then it is easy. It is quite easy to do if they have someone from the inside. Which in my oppinion is mostly the case, and in lile 90% of today's company hacking it is the best way to do it (and most comon one)

For instance: the majority of companies relies on IT for instance to push the update/software to connected computers (this is not new). So if someone from the inside can add their own stuff to this so called update or new software deployement it will be deployed on almost all computer. Oracle (2nd biggest software company in the world) works like (they use something called mydesktop), Microsoft (biggest software company in the world) too obviously like the majority of company with a decent IT service.

Hacking is not at all like in those movies where someone is using 10 screens, a nice 3D application and typing 3 characters to actually hack a the CIA/FBI or whatever.

I don't, and I use PSN quite often. You're confusing security with number of servers it seems.

Well as i remember typing "it reflects on the whole company". Everyone knows its the same servers

Oh okay, I guess that proves it

I can see the articles already:

"Hacker destroys Sony and in the process helps Microsoft grab the console crown, Nintendo not in distant third anymore"

This has to be the work of Hugh Jackman using his 3D worm on John Travolta's 10 screen computer. Damn you!! *shakes fist in air*

Someone's mad his DriveClub Ps+ edition hasn't arrived yet...

This is pretty fucked up though

I guess they want Sony to return Spiderman to Marvel. So he can be added in the Avengers movies. lol!

All about this screams amateurs. This can't be real and it's certainly no professional hack.

I also haven't seen any credible news source or Sony itself picking this up. Just random internet ramblings.
