GTAIV will do it for a couple of weeks.

No other game will do it.

it somewhat puzzles me how anyone can pick the wii over a ps3 or 360 for that matter.

i have a wii also but its more of a novetly games machine, no way would i say its even close to my ps3 or 360

Excuse my ignorance but will GTA4 have a simultaneous worldwide launch a la Halo 3? If not then I can't see it happening given the combined effects of Brawl, Wii Fit and Mario Kart launches across various territories. Likewise with MGS4.

Hopefully, Nintendo will address its supply issues soon, in which case sales will become more stable unlike the regular fluctuations we see from week to week. When this happens I dont think anything less than a significant price reduction will propell the PS3 past the Wii, and of course this will only be a short term irregularity.

You really overestimate the importance of MGS4. I give you a small hint of a game that is way more important, comes earlier, is shared with 360 and has theft in it's name.

When that game arrives I think PS3 should outsell Wii for one ore more weeks. 

MGS4 is no where near as big as half of GTAIV.

Btw, what will happen, when Wii will meet demand, but PS3 will be able to outsell it for several weeks(thnx to MSG4 bundle or pricecut) ?

That is a possibility, espicially if a significant number of wii owners decide they want a second console with better graphics.  I don't see it happening in 2008 (at least not world wide) though....  2009 would be the earliest.

Just imagine, Wii selling 350k(50k jap, 100k eu, 200k us) and PS3 at 299$ 370k(70k jap, 150k eu, 150k us).

Then what?
