I don't know about Level-5 being "too quiet." They've been pretty busy milking Yokai Watch.

Yeah releasing the same game 3 times in 6 months surely doesnt take that much effort. Its the money maker so they can spend their time on NNK2

but yeah sooner or later this generation will be more interesting for JRPG gamer who choose PS4 then Xbox One
unlike last generation (on the early year some games landed on xbox 360). So yeah there will be no confusion in choosing console anymore for people who want to play JRPG.

a bit more mature in its storytelling
a bit more depth in familar evolving
same simple but bit more strategic fight system

also: bring ni no kuni 1 as a movie to the cinemas. or even a tv series.
