Pity they didn't give us numberz before the $10 PC sale.

Not sure how this doesn't make sense, dead in my opinion doesn't mean nobody is playing, just means that not many people are playing anymore. Hate to see the games population once it hits a year. |
Perhaps Titanfall is less active then you expected. But saying its dead just isn't the reality. The game is still selling as well. 17K for week ending November 9th.
Titanfall should see a sales boost given the holiday and the X1 userbase is growing. Also, next year it will likely be added to EA Access.

Well it has good legs, but where are all the users at? I would think it would have like 30k people at any given time, not 4k.
@bolded fair points.
Very lackluster for a game so hyped. EA really screwed Respawn.

The thing is online console shooters aren't as active as they once were. I played CoD:Ghosts on 360 a few weeks before CoD:AW launched and it was around 45K. Modern Warfare 3 was around 20K. So that series has seen a huge decline in spite of selling mega numbers.
In my opinion, plenty of people are still playing online but they don't play all day anymore. That's why shooters are still selling very well but population is smaller.
A lot of games this gen don't even show their population anymore. Including CoD:AW and Halo:MCC.

A dev from respawn posted on neogaf today that Titanfall was far more successful then they hoped. In fact it's one of their best selling new IP games. Really happy for them that, not only did that make a game with 60 people and on a low budget, and I believe they had legal issues also. Imagine the pressure. Fantastic for them and can't wait for TF 2!
I mean forgot the console war and port begging. This is a tight game that they never stopped supporting. That's a great devolper and we should be cherishing them for their effort.

only 60 people? No wonder it turned out to be half a game. The sales are very good given the limited install base on the X1 but lets be honest EA lost out on a shit on of sales because it wasn't on the PS4. I also don't buy the whole MS saved it from getting canned BS. EA a massive company not having enough money to fund a new AAA IP? Please....
