Microsoft did everything they could. They added two free games, threw out Sunset Overdrive, MCC, Cawwa Doody, Assassin's Creed, and lopped $70 off the price and are still getting beat by plain jane $399 PS4 with no games. I hate to say it but this is literally it for Microsoft. If they lose November NPD, nothing they could ever do would actually beat PS4 aside from giving out Xbones for free. Satya Nadella needs to do the right thing and sell Xbox to China before the brand loses too much money.

LOL.. There it is..        So this whole thread should just be deleted... It was false alarm.. and actually.. becuase they were one position apart.. We don't know that the PS4 every outsold the X1.. If they had sold the same amount.. maybe it just went by ALPHA.. and gave it to the PS4.  lol

So.... Xbox back above PS4? Anyway I'm sure PS4 will go above the Xbox on hourly simply because of GTA 5 and Far Cry 4 releasing (both have marketing deals for the PS4).

No, its not just an hour. XBO momentum is dying down and its going down in the charts. The XBO won't magicaly have  a dozen SKUs in top 20 again like it did earlier in the month. Price cut has taken affect. Call Of Duty has released. Expect PS4 to continue to top the charts these holidays. Your the XB1 got a boost in sales and it was temporary. PS4 didn't get a decrease in sales.....it had a boost too but a much smaller one. Things are going back to normal now that these big events have taken place.(COD/price cut)

All this is pretty pointless given that we are heading into Black Friday, which will determine the sales standings for November leading towards the year end totals.

MS jumped the gun on their Black Friday deals, which was the right move for them given their market position.

We'll see how the availability of a previously $450 PS4 bundle (TLOU bundle) with GTA V for a discounted price of $399 effects consumer buyer habits in the US over the next couple weeks.
