So I'm just going to say this, if by some weird luck I end up being promoted, I'm going to setup a VGC IRC channel, then invite other mods/staff to join it and be opped on there.
VGC is in dire need of a realtime chat thats at the very least, semi official.

For the site as a whole. We already run AIM Modchat, the question is getting folks to show up there (mostly me)

If you haven't heard, there's been a few changes over the past week. One is the fact that Kantor has stepped down from being Head Mod (although he is thankfully still with us!) and I have taken up the title. 5. Playstation. Why? Focus on Action/Cinematic games like Uncharted/God Of War + full 3rd party support.

6. About 30 minutes a day? Longer when new charts show up.

7. I've owned a couple of websites and handled spam bots and rude comments for a couple of years. Does that count?

8. So I can ban people who flat-out defy the rules. I see tons of new user accounts here all the time that are always getting banned. Many of these are obvous alts.

9. Not sure.

10. I think the current moderation system could be relaxed a little bit. For example saying a console is dead or shouldn't be cause for a ban. Saying a console is shitty? That's worth a ban. I think bans here are handed out a little too frequently for silly console war comments. We're all biased and we all bash a console from time to time. As long as we do it in a constructive way I think we should be allowed to express our opinions.

11. I log on multiple times a day. I could handle reports during these times and I could pop into threads to make sure people behave.
