Littlebigplanet looks very fun. But like I've said many times, I don't think it's going to sell well. A lot of non-PS3 users like it, but not enough to buy a PS3. And then a bunch of PS3 users like it, but how many will get it? I bet a lot of them don't want a "kiddy" game.

I guess you don't frequent often at the playstation.com or psmonline forums.

I don't frequent the PS forums, but I can imagine people are hyped about the game.

But tell me, how many people are registered in those forums?  There are undoubtedly many PS3 buyers that aren't on those forums, and they are the ones who don't frequent game sites, they just buy MotorStorm, NBA, Def Jam Icon, because that's what they always buy.

I don't want to stereotype the typical Playstation buyer, but I still think that a large number of PS3 users would not want to pick up this game.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

There are a handful of games that are truely "E" for everyone. These include Mario, Donkey Kong, Banjo Kazooie, Star Fox, Zelda, Crash Bandicoot, Sonic the Hedgehog, Blinx, Rayman, Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Spyro the Dragon, Bubsy, Pac-Man, Bomberman, F-Zero, Earthbound, Metroid, Gex, TY the Tasmanian Tiger, and a few others. All are arguable, except Mario, Sonic, Donkey Kong, and Crash. The others might be more suited for older audiences, or younger ones, but not mascots. But most likely, every single Disney game is for little kiddies. I hate it how so many movies get turned into games. They always end up being crap. They always get ignored. They always pollute the video game library. They occupy space in video game stores, which takes longer to find a good game in a video game store, because there are so many of these stupid Disney games. Disney should stick to making movies.
