Thank you! After looking through this thread i seen a couple of "Its definitely not the best graphical game", which people are seemingly missing the point of Eurogamer. I guess this s why Nintendo cant win any GoTY/awards/etc :P

GOTY awards aren't given based on graphics, and Nintendo does win GOTY on EG, like SM3DW did last year.

The colorful art-style, 60fps, and the lively animations of the characters all make MK8 worthy of this tittle. No amount of "lol, the gaem loks made for babis" arguments made by PS4/Xbone swagkids/tryhardadults is going to change that.

I agree, the sheer amount of colors in that game along with some of the best music tracks ever really does make the presentation truely epic! And of course, 60 fps makes it fap worthy buttery smooth

Majority was for GTAV and especially for TLoU (though that one deserved it so no problems there.

And my bad  i was joking on the graphical part for GoTY.

Point is (for the thread)  MK8 had the most appeal visual overall, which many agree on. Its obviously not a contender in term of raw power graphics, which it'll never be because WiiU<<<X1+PS4. But that shouldnt matter. (at least imo!!!)

I totally agree.

Bayonetta is a close second though.

The use of nice vistas with a varied pallete and great design is what makes these games great looking.

For those thinking anything else this year was better... well, sorry, it wasnt. It was a boring depiction of reality in greys and browns.

They totally are grey and brown. Feel free to show me a pic just as colorful as MK8.
