PS4 because the deals are going to be newly available where as the big X1 deals have already had their initial sales spike.

Actually I saw a 299 bundle deal witht he X1 for Black Friday so it seems MS and retailers have not exhusted their deals or how willing they are go drop prices for sales.  When you look at it, Sony really only providing one bundle while MS seems to have a slew of very agressive priced bundles for online and store retail shops.  Sony defintely have momentun which is huge for long tail of sales but Black Friday is for the frugal shopper looking for the deal that nets the most bang for the buck.  I just do not see 2 remasters of old games really being that big when compared to a bunch of new games you can get for less money.

I think Sony has BF in the bag. MS shot its wad by offering BF deals since the beginning of Nov. Already some of those bundles have dropped out of the Top 30 on Amazon. And the PS4 is holding up a fight against these bundles, without even offering anything extra. Even winning on sites like Wal-Mart and Gamestop.

So, just imagine what sales will look like when the PS4 is also packed with two free games. GTA5 and TLOU for teen/adult gamers and LBP3 and Lego Batman 3 for kids/families. And on the XBO side of things, I doubt many are going wait til Black Friday to save a measly $20, when they can have all those bundles now.

XBox One.

The X1 has the mojo this holiday. MS will easily win the US and will not relinquish it from here on out.

Its time for the comeback of the comeback of the comeback of the comeback baby!

Xbox One will tear ps4 to bitz

I'm not surprised. The Xbox One is afterall an unstoppable beast. It's started a casual uproar. The PS4 is dying off. Xbox One has hit the final nail in the coffin for the PS4 both in the US and the UK, and the PS4 has already been crushed to bits

Gloomy times for the PS4, when will it end?

PS4 has this in the bag with that monstrous bundle.

What monstrous bundle?
There're only 2 bundles with 2 games included. No rumored monstrous bundle with 3 games.

When will the PS4 bundle deals start?

This. And it certainly explains the first 2 weeks in November also. Momentum will continue.

Black Friday is the biggest day for gaming in the US. hundreds of thousands of consoles are sold on Black Friday. Who do you think will win Black Friday this year?  I would have to say the X1 there are much better deals for it.

Who do you think will sell more?

its just so crazy to think 1 year ago, to get an xbox one you would have to spend $170 more, $500 total, and you wouldnt get a game and $50 coupon.

the console has essentially dropped $200 in less than a year. im pretty sure thats unheard of.

but it seems to be a very good, albeit desperate move by ms.

Sony should have definitely done the temporary price as well. The consoles 2nd Christmas season is a very crucial part of its lifecycle. These early years it is critical get get people to adopt your console, so later on, others buy it to because "everyone else has one". (like what happened with 360 to ps3). if ps4 would have dropped price this christmas, people would continue to buy it in droves over the xbo, leaving little reason to get the xbo over it. then put the price back up in january, without loosing customers in the holiday season like they will now. and then "everyone" will still have a ps4, so long run sales, and profits would be even greater than the short term greater profits that not dropping the price will have.

its going to be a snowball effect. i still think the ps4 will win longterm in the US, but this season they had a chance to shut the door, and they missed it. they are letting xbo get back in the game. MS will be gaining the critical early adopter that will influence others to get it later down the road.

if sony sacrificed some profit margins on the ps4 this christmas season, they would have gained a lot more sales, and importantly shutout xbox sales. then down the road they would have more than made up the lost potential profit, by have even a larger market share and the snowball effect of everyone buying a ps4 because everyone else has one too. very dumb on sony's part
