Well that proves nothing in terms of sell through. Likely they have overtaken Wii U in sell through but we have no definite confirmation. We don't even know how close xb one is to 10 million in shipments exactly. They may still be a month away from 10 million but that can still qualify as "shortly".

The only thing this says is that MS is pretty confident to drive momentum, and if they are, there's probably something behind it and they may outsell WiiU soon. But until now this is just plain shipment.

Good move for MS. X1 needs serious adjustements here, it's been massively undertracked : no way MS can ship 3.5-4m more than it sells.

I agree that it will be remembered fondly. In the here and now it doesn't represent enough value to most customer's. I suspect I'll buy it again on the cheap at the end of this gen when all its good games are finally out.
