Better as in actual in-game footage?

Are you still in denial over it being Gameplay footage or not? Yes. That was gameplay footage.

Bless you for believing Nintendo telling blatant lies.

Are you joking right now?

If they "may" have things to show at E3 then that means we should expect the game in 2016! oh well :/

    R.I.P Mr Iwata :'(

Look at Watch Dogs and other games.
Obviously it's not a given.

In today's industry, it seems to be the opposite, sadly.

Thats what happens when you take high end gameplay from a pc and assume its running on a console, but your comment is merely a deflection.

If a full year of development didnt improve things there would be something very wrong.

I don't think she is arguing that downgrading wouldn't be a problem.  That would be something very wrong.  And that's the point:  there is something very wrong with the industry as a whole.  Graphics downgrades on all platforms, poor optimization, or just outright lies (*cough*Colonial Marines*cough*) are becoming common practice.

Becoming?, they always have been common practice, it doent take much effort or skill to tell the difference between pre-rendered and realtime, regardless of what they person revealing it is actually saying.

Even the PC version of Watch Dogs doesn't look as good as what was shown at E3 2012.

They said that they downgraded it so it runs better, but people reported different things.

It really isn't a given nowadays anymore sadly.
