1) they're not at 10 millions yet, and they won't be probably until end of december.

2) 1/1.5 millions on shelves near end of december is plausible, it would mean 2 millions/2.5 sold for november+december, it would fit with Vgchartz numbers (who is mostly accurate with Xbox numbers, compared to sony and nintendo...)

3) Vgchartz is two weeks behind.

So, what does this article mean ? Well, nothing at all, except that sony win october NPD by a large margin.

My daughter will be four years old by late February. By then, she'll be almost five, more so than she is now. Maybe we should just just claim that her fourth birthday is her fifth birthday since she's that close. So this is what they mean when they say children grow up so fast. And, yes, this is on topic if you haven't figured.

Yeah it is kinda pathetic how they are annoucing shipped numbers that likely includes holiday figures this early. I guess you got to get that semi-positive PR out there however you can. 

Gotta drop that 10 Mill spin before Sony drop that 20 Mill shipped at PS Event!

Well, It's holiday time, so for Microsoft is spin time..... nothing new.

If Xbox One is reaching 10m, probably they surpassed 9'5m shipped until now. Considering is already November, around 2-1'5m on shelves is probable (not like in September I think), so probably Xbox One is 7'5-8m right now. 7-7'5 m probably 2 weeks ago. VGC shows 6'3m...., so it seems XBO could be around 750k or 1m undertracked here, and I think with PS4 is even worse.

Considering they're saying XBO is the best 8th gen selling console in the last 2 weeks in USA, they basically have admited PS4 sold more than XBO in October too. Microsoft did a good job with the bundles and discounts, but I think Sony is going hard for BF with GTA V bundles. November NPD will be very interesting....

then you are being delibrately blind if you cant see it,  and simple way to check is to go read other social media, and you see people shouting from the rooftops that its sold close to 10 million, while others are trying to get clarrification, while others yet are smart enough to go read.  the thing they know is, most people on twitter are fucking retarded(pardon my french) and they wont click on things, or spend any time actually researching it aswell.  you can run into the same morons on facebook lol   That is why he made that tweet, and worded it the way it was.  its a tweet that when read without further research, one would believe hes talking about 10million units sold.  that is why its misleading.   

Sure, everyone here is going to instantly know what it all means(well maybe not everyone.. lol)  but when it comes to the casuals, they will just hear triple and 10 million and run with it.
