45% down is both combined imho. But no clarification until now. Both could be possible
XB1 a handful better would result in XB1 down <45% and PS4 down >45%
My numbers are the theoretical minimum and maximum for both consoles.

If it's true, that 295k PS4 number would be very exact and set in stone.

Actually, now that I think about it, I replied to someone who was qouting that.  Man, that was ages ago.  This is the longest NPD with the smallest amount of info EVER. 

If! the 295k PS4 and 170k for XB1 would be true, Playstation is in much better shape.
That would result in weekly adjusted down of 31,5% for PS4 and 25,5% for Xb1.

After coming form a 3 month preoder highly anticipated new color bundle, while the competitor has that bundle (not that highly anticipated but still a new color and some decent demand because of some retailer grant that 50$ pricecut early) this month, would be the real win for the PS4.

Note: this is all my if conclusion. Still not sure, if that numbers are right.

Man, VGC without NPD numbers is doomed. They already make mistakes in the hundreds of thousands even when they update with monthly US and weekly Japanese numbers, let alone now. Post holiday adjustments are going to be epic.

I 100% agree.  Hell, if NPD wanted to make a lot of money, they could create a dedicated page with the HW and Top 10 SW numbers, put a few banner ads on the borders and watch the dough roll in.  I also find it funny that for decades they were fine with just putting the numbers out there for all to see.  Why the sudden change a couple years back?  Personally, i think a few companies/publishers wished the numbers be made private to hide when sales weren't the greatest.

He's banned until the 17th november, he will (maybe) give numbers after that he said.

PS4 / XBO suffered significant, unadjusted, MOM declines. Why else would PR (especially Microsoft PR) be so vague?

So PS4 dropped hard and XBO even harder??? Maybe it can help calculate the ratio between both.
