I 100% agree. Hell, if NPD wanted to make a lot of money, they could create a dedicated page with the HW and Top 10 SW numbers, put a few banner ads on the borders and watch the dough roll in. I also find it funny that for decades they were fine with just putting the numbers out there for all to see. Why the sudden change a couple years back? Personally, i think a few companies/publishers wished the numbers be made private to hide when sales weren't the greatest.
