Wii is no ordinary console, it appeals to wide range of people (much like the DS). Why shouldn't a console be supply constrain after one year if it is selling well?
Nintendo business model is always conservative one. You make it sound like they could just magically pump out all the Wii they want to. It take a lot to get production going especially for electronic items.
It's too bad PS3 need so many price-cut plus gutting out features for it to start selling.
And I am not sure why this tread even get start when there are two others on 360 supply already. Looks at all the same "PS3" cheerleaders show up in this trend to spout mis-information. Most posts I have seen lately all indicate that 360 are now being restock. (see other trends on 360 supply). MS said they should solve the supply problem by March....and guess what ? It is March! But I guess looking and reading calendar is probably just as hard as trying to read and post appropriately in the forum where there are already trend on this subject.
You guys are the reason I visit this site less and less in the last month.
