LOL we get it MS has finally met supply which they said they would around March which I'll be danm we are in March. Man talk about beating a dead horse heh.  In terms of NPD depending on when they met supply constraint they may or may not be ahead of the PS3.  We will soon know.

Haha no. I still see the same sign ive been seeing since 06. The Wii is currently out of stock and they have no idea when they will be in stock again.

Bringing the up, does anyone think this is the year we will be able to find them in any store?

Oh no some people still dont get it. Some people still say that supply issues havent been resolved, when I say there never were any that would impact sales more than 1,000 console or so.

no way. with brawl coming out. mario kart coming out. and wii fit coming out. probably 3 of the top 10 best-selling wii games, maybe even 3 of the top 5. thee is just no way. like who wouldnt want to get a wii after those 3 beautiful, magnificent games come out.

No console after over a year, should still be that supply restrained. Never happened to PS1 (over 100 million sold) or PS2 (over 120 million sold), If Wii wants to come close to those numbers, they better shape up their manufacturing sector.

Soriku (Feb 10/08): In 5 years the PS3/360 will be dead.

Its actually crazy as hell. I mean how can they STILL have issues? If your nintendo I guess its a good way to keep the Wii in the spotlight, but sooner or later people have got to get pissed off and give up right? Or i would assume they would.

What if you were waiting since launch and still couldnt find one, and didnt have the internet know-how to order one? Will Brawl and Wii-Fit maybe well see a huge surge in production, and afterwards well see it readily available.

Just thinking though, this is going to be a record smashing March/April period, with Patapon,Crisis Core, GOW:OO, Brawl, GTAIV and some other probably hitting this early in the year. I think we might end up seeing holiday-like numbers.

Wii is no ordinary console, it appeals to wide range of people (much like the DS).  Why shouldn't a console be supply constrain after one year if it is selling well?

Nintendo business model is always conservative one.  You make it sound like they could just magically pump out all the Wii they want to.  It take a lot to get production going especially for electronic items.

It's too bad PS3 need so many price-cut plus gutting out features for it to start selling.

And I am not sure why this tread even get start when there are two others on 360 supply already.  Looks at all the same "PS3" cheerleaders show up in this trend to spout mis-information.   Most posts I have seen lately all indicate that 360 are now being restock.  (see other trends on 360 supply).  MS said they should solve the supply problem by March....and guess what ? It is March!  But I guess looking and reading calendar is probably just as hard as trying to read and post appropriately in the forum where there are already trend on this subject.

You guys are the reason I visit this site less and less in the last month.

it probably is n some spots...like new york where people with a media outlet that lots will read will notice...but in most places its on the shelf....

and to those that want to flame the wii b/c they are producing an unheard of amount to try and meet an unimaginable demand i say....

So wait lemme get this straight. The Wii is no ordinary console, so that means that after being sold out for over a year Nintendo can't raise production to meet demand for 250,000 a week? I dont care if the PS3 needs a price cut to sell, I dont get what your saying? Since the PS3 has a hard time selling at $200 more than the competition its wrong to cut the price $100? Is that supposed to hurt someones feelings? And if the Wii was making 1.5 million a month, why is it no longer hitting that number but still selling out? Production can be bumped up in a few months if you REALLY want it to be. They arent trying to, and I dont blame them I just asked if at some point it would be possible to find them in stores. And hell keep visiting it less, and take your whole whopping 33 post with you. Better yet, make it 32 posts, leave this one post here so we can laugh at what a clown you are.
