He says that both games don't need him as a character to sell well. I say the opposite.

I voted Mario Kart.
The legs of this game are incredible.
But Smash will be nice!

I think Smash actually. Melee outsold Mario Kart DD on Gamecube didn't it? There's something about Smash bros that's viral. and the fans are loyal to Smash as well since a lot of MK Wii's sales were from unloyal casuals. If you consider the 3DS and Wii U version to be part of the same game then Smash, no contest, has already won. If you count them separately then I'm still sure Smash will come close if not surpass MK8. Seriously though, they should just make a Smash Kart.
