"we see frame rates regularly fluctuate between 25-30fps across both consoles"
"overall image quality looks like a match between both PS4 and Xbox One. A 900p resolution is confirmed while anti-aliasing, NPC count and other factors that may impact performance appear to be a complete match."

So not only is there resolution parity, but fps parity as well... Using "every ounce" of power for the respective platforms my ass

"but what comes as a bit of a shock is that the Xbox One version frequently out-performs the PS4 game in more detail-rich areas"

It is also interesting that the x1 is on the "higher end" of the spectrum when it comes to fps

gpu locked, cpu left as is, the xbox one cpu runs at a somewhat higher speed so will do that.

I guess that 150mhz x6 cores does make some difference in certain situtions loll

false advertising, like watchdogs...............

the pc rendered previews need to stop.

What I love about Nintendo games are that the Pre-Alpha footage we are shown always ends up being way worse than the final product.

Meanwhile other companies, their pre-alpha build always looks a generation ahead of what the final product looks like coming out.

The PC port seems to be even worse. There is people on GAF with overclocked i7 and overclocked 980 gtx having ~40fps in the cutscenes with reduced AA.

That's because nintendo actually shows pre alpha footage. the others show outright fake videos.

Then they shoudl not label it Pre-Alpha.

Pretty sure the first AC Unity trailer says Pre-alpha.

Look at that trailer and final product.  Then look at Hyrule Warriors first trailer and final.  or Mario 3D World first and Final.  ect.

We shoudl be more excited for the game near its release, not the other way around.  Too many games these days have huge hype on first trailer and then slowly slowly lose pre-orders the closer it gets to release.

This really reminds me of Resident Evil 6.

600 staff, the most ambitious Capcom Project ever, aiming to deliver "the most impressive Resident Evil ever in terms of scope and production values"

Metacritic ~ 67 on 360 with performance issues.

Too many cooks seem to spoil the broth.

but them it wouldn't mislead the audience and the games wouldn't sell. there's no way they'll be honest and show actual footage or say that the misleading videos are misleading.

It seems the crowds that are largely responsible for the frame-rate drop are more hindrance than visual spectacle.

Ubisoft, patch the crowds so there are one third less of them and spread them out so traveling through them is not such a hassel.

Lol, looks like the parity comment wasn't bullshit. And for Ubisoft to actually try and say that they used the most out of both systems? Really? Maybe they need to fire all of their programmers and actually hire some people who know what they are doing. There's no reason for any game to be identical when one system is quite a bit more powerful than the other. Even if they chose for the res to be the same, then the PS4 version should have been able to be much better graphically. It's obvious this game was a rush job.

Considering it runs like ass on both platforms, and there are plenty of other titles without parity, I think it's safe to say the parity comments were and still are complete bullsh.
