#43 clue:

Don't refuse the chance to play the third in this series just because the previous two were average

Far Cry 3?

No, that was a bit lower on my list

Oops xD

The one after Wrestlemania 2000.

Edit: Yes, it's WWF No Mercy.

The N64 was really a great platform for wrestling games. My personal favorite is WCW/nWo: Revenge.

Not to mention the fact that the first Far Cry was actually really good, I don't understand how Ubi managed to screw up the recipe when they took over the IP from Crytek.

Hint for #44:

This game is the third in a series that went online in April.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

You're good at this

Ok, I just checked and found out I actually AM ahead of schedule even after considering time zone differences. I guess I should contain myself.

So, here my #43 hint: the last 4 games in my list have followed a year release pattern (1996, 2006, 1996, 2006). I can say that this next title is the combo breaker.

Yeah, that's my hint but it's because I'm ahead of schedule. I'll come back with a better one tomorrow.

Also, here's the real #43 hint (still ahead of schedule, but I'm too anxious at least I'm only slightly ahead now):

A game released in 2006 had the exact same name as this one.

Sonic the Hedgehog (1991)?

44. Gran Turismo 5 (PS3)

The driving physics as always are great, but it's the sheers amount of content and support from the devs that make this game so fantastic. The constant update of online events, patches and upgrades is astounding, especially for a game that already has such a huge amount of content.

Hint for 43:

This is an open-world game from the 80s. I doubt many people will know of this title so I'll split the name into 2 words:

Word 1: We go round one every year.

Word 2: Name of a classic ID franchise.

Star...Doom? Star Quake? Only these two apply I believe, unless somebody made a game called Star Wolfenstein

StarQuake:

Back when games weren't just shades of grey and brown
