You can defeat the main boss quickly without having to beat the previous sub-bosses.
Another hint for the game #4: If you wanted, you could access secret areas by having the key in the mouth of a certain character.

I liked it overall, though I admit when it comes to movies, I'm easily satisfied. I do think Desolation of Smaug is the strongest of the trilogy personally, but Battle of the Five Armies is I'd say a worthy conclusion to the whole Middle Earth saga so to say. I don't know if I'll think the same, but for now I'd both it and An Unexpected Journey on the same level, with Desolation slightly above. I won't go in detail, but the dwarf/elf story doesn't stop and the movie is still ridden with CGI, and some things are a bit over the top. I think I see what you mean, luckily most monsters are viewed from a further distance generally so it isn't as noticable as in the other movies, but with the main orc generals you'll easily notice like in the other Hobbit films. They don't look as good as Lurtz or the other Uruk-Hai did in Lord of the Rings. Actors in make-up just beat CGI. Fight and battle scenes are generally amazing and I think I definitely got my money's worth. |
I see that's about what I expected. I liked Desolation better than most so that's fine by me. Seems like Battle is a big conclusion with lots of Peter Jackson's great coordination. He really does a great job keeping everything in perspective even in a massive battle.
Anywho back on topic we're really getting down to the nitty gritty of our lists and now looking at it I have a LOT of ND and Insomniac. 7 of my top 10 are by those 2 devs lol
#4 - My first GTA game, the game that made me fall in love with GTA, and incidentally, with gaming in general. GTA series was the main reason I ever decided to buy a console at all (I bought a X360 to play GTA, the rest is history). Before that, all I've ever played was an occasional PES 6 tournament with my friends (weekly 10 hour marathons of football, food and smoke).
My friend let me borrow one of his PS2s, and my wife and I played this game non-stop. Some story missions, but mostly (thanks to cheats) we just ran or drove around town causing mayhem. My wife's favorite hobby was chainsawing pedestrians :)
Hints for the game #4:
You can defeat the main boss quickly without having to beat the previous sub-bosses.
If you wanted, you could access secret areas by having the key in the mouth of a certain character.
Can't access an area? Try looking for the respective switch.
Hint for the game #3: Third game in the franchise sees a return to the same galaxy as the first game, even returning to some planets.

You are correct .
Heh, I know that's the complaint when it comes to this game and pretty much everyone I know that knows the game hates the baby. Personally I actually don't mind it that much. Plus, you just got to be good enough to not lose the baby .

Half-Life 2 (PC, 2004)
guessed by Wright
In Half-Life 2 Gordon Freeman must use his weapons and his wits to, once again, save mankind, in this instance from alien overlords and their human collaborators. Boasting an incredible physics system -- in which objects and people obey the laws of gravity, friction and buoyancy -- remarkably sophisticated artificial intelligence, and superior graphics, Half-Life 2 is the very definition of next-generation. Half-Life 2 unfolds across several chapters, some of which involve the use of vehicles, some of which are heavy on problem-solving. The variety of gameplay experiences packed into Half-Life is remarkable.

Not that one. It's more like 10 years ago "old".
