The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
guessed by axumblade
I must admit I was a little hesitant to fully embrace A Link Between Worlds at first. The overworld, borrowed wholesale from A Link to the Past, didn't seem, at first blush, to offer much to someone so familiar with that version of Hyrule. Boy, was I wrong. Although the topography is identical, the game world in Link Between Worlds is packed with brand new secrets, items, dungeons, characters, and, perhaps most importantly, mechanics. The hero Link has the brand new ability to transform into a two-dimensional painting to access hidden rooms, treasure, and a dark "mirror" version of Hyrule. Backed with fresh ideas, brilliant dungeons, and plenty of secrets, A Link Between Worlds is the best Zelda game in years.

Nope. Never played that one. It has voodoo?

It was a guess, I think you switch between Ellen Page and a ghost of some sort, that's voodoo-ish, no?

Glad I finally got caught up. Now a hint for game #19.
It has a sexual innuendo in the title. The first and last game in this series to have fully 3d space combat.
#20 - So much time spent on this game...I even managed to talk my wife into playing the campaign in co-op, but then almost toward the end a glitch wiped out our progress...so <I never bothered to play again. The story is silly anyway, a B-movie on Syfy channel, who cares what really happened.
Don't really care for multiplayer either, just a bunch of people running around covers shotgunning each other, gets boring after 5 matches...
But I cannot remember how many hundreds of hours I've spent playing Horde, either by myself or with others. No wonder numerous games copy/pasted it for their co-op experience. Simply because of Horde, this game deserves to be ranked. Without it, no reason to play it. That's why I never bothered to play part 1 at all, and part 3's Horde mode was much less addictive, too many changes...

Your hints are way too obscure :(
Hints for the game #20: Sequel from a successful Sony franchise. If you've seen and heard the intro cutscene, you'd see why it's my favorite game.
This second entry from the series came with two discs, both having separate modes.
Hint for the game #19: Possibly the best original Gameboy game ever. Just thinking about its nostalgicness makes me feel blue.
