Say hello to Perfect Dark, Rare's follow-up to the massively successful GoldenEye 007. It seemed unlikely that Rare could create a worthy successor to one of the most critically acclaimed and popular games of all time, but that's exactly what happened. In fact, Perfect Dark surpasses its spiritual predecessor on several fronts: graphics, sound, presentation, and game modes. In single-player mode, heroine Joanna Dark fights across over a dozen levels to uncover a massive conspiracy. In co-operative or counter-operative mode, two players can take on mission objectives together, or try to sabotage one another. And in multiplayer mode, up to four players and eight computer-controlled bots, or "simulants" as they're called in Perfect Dark, can fight for bragging rights. Perfect Dark marks the first of seven N64 games in my top 25.

#33 first game is a series that has had two revivals so far… one where the tone of the games got more serious and dark (rated E10+ by ESRB), and one where the main character was dropped from the title after the first game in the second revival. But the revivals pale in comparison to the originals.

Bonus Hint: the second revival of this series inspired rivals such as Disney infinity and amiibo.

#29 This games was released for PSN and Xbox live, but couldn’t afford to pay to release its patches, so it was released on PC. My favorite character in it likes to "kick butt and chew tobacco".

Another hint for the game #23: The online portion of the game debuted in disaster, until it was fixed days later.

I have never had the opportunity to play crash bandicoot;  so unfortunately none of its entries are on my list. 

#23 - The only AC game that was any good (well, Brotherhood and Revelations were good, but they are only AC2 reshuffled). Before I had a console, a friend spoke highly about first AC. So it was one of the first games I played, and I got bored out of my mind... So I almost didn't play this one. But I took a chance and loved it.... Then AC3 came along, and that one is easily one of the worst games I've ever played... I will never play another AC game after that, and I'm fine with that, plenty of better games around...

But this game deserves a spot on the list.

There's many mixed feelings about this game within this series' fan-base. Some think it's awesome, some think it's the black sheep (while there's already another game that could claim that title) of the franchise. One thing's for sure, it certainly was a unique entry.

I can think of a few titles... Zelda 2?
