I believe EA learned their lesson and may allow what is left of the Bioware teams they bought for $680m adequate time and resources from now on. An attempt at a quick cash-in was inevitable. It failed badly.
I' m more excited for DA:I than anything else I've heard about. Well, Fallout Beantown has been sorta confirmed. Still no danger of premature exaltation here. If it's goty or rpgoty on some or mosts sites that's just great.
Just because you are argueably the best in the world at building teams of decently developed characters doesn't mean every BioWare game should do so. The squadmates from ME1 or 2 could have been used in 3 and more time spent on plot holes and the plot itself imho. We can expect more of same here. Not a bad thing.
I also feel Mr. Gaider's increasing insistance on making DA and ME into showcases for Gay and Lesbian alternatives in gayming is starting to feel a bit umm.. forced. Apparently this game will be a no-holds-barred free-for-all with nobody showing any particular preference for the opposite sex. Whatsoever. To be fair that pretty well describes Edmonton I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong. ;p

Hmm its flashy but I don't see that as bad. The flip move is to create distance between him and enimies since he uses a crossbow. As for the mages I think they look awesome. It wouldn't be as fun being a mage if they were static while using the basic staff attack and it would look really awkward. As for a dark story I think a possible civil war between mages and templars and a rift in the sky with demons pooring out of it is pretty dark. You cray cray:p

Well I read a lot of comment sections and forums and lots of people have claimed to have lost faith in Bioware so that's where I get that. People still overreacting to DA2 and Mass Effect 3 ending.

I have this game pre-orders, but it comes by mail order and the service isn't always good at getting games delivered day 1. I will be a sad panda if I have to wait a week or more for it to arrive. I'm not sure it will restore any lost faith. All it can do is keep the faithful happy. But if it doesn't meet expectations it can cause more people to lose faith in Bioware. |
Yeah I liked DA2 and I didn't mind the ME3 ending. This game looks like it is going to be amazing though and hopefully get people back into the dragon age series.
Wa? What? Why would i have lost faith in Bioware? Because a bunch of people decided to QQ cause they didnt get a custom made ending? Because Dragon Age 2 didnt manage to capture the epicness of Dragon age origind but was still a good game? A star wars MMO that i loved and EA proceeded to pull funding from?
Nope, i never lost any kind of faith in Bioware. They are sadly more pragmatic EA style, but i still dont see any reasons to lose faith in them. I love their RPG's and they just delivered an incredible series in mass effect. Not only do they still got it, i amsure inquisition will be good. Better than origins? I dunno. I really like the story of the blight and the wardens.

Yeah I think it does seem.a bit forced at times but I believe there are a couple characters that only like the opposite sex. Yeah there aren't any other games this year that I'm nearly excited for as much as Dragon Age.

I'm confident enough that Inquisition will be even better than Origins. DA2 was a good game and the ending of Mass Effect 3 was appropriate I thought. I just hope Inquisition gets people excited about Bioware RPGs again and people start talking about how great Inquisition is and less about how DA2 disappointed them.
I don't know. I've already accepted the fact that it's going to be an action game with RPG elements rather than the other way around. This is just what Bioware is now.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

No different than any of the other dragon age or mass effect games. Doesn't mean the game is going to be bad. It let's you play action or strategic. Its definitely not an all out action game like God of War or anything like that. I mean its more of a real time combat RPG like Kingdom Hearts
