I really don't think there is a need for a Bayonetta 3, I think the story came to full circle and is pretty much finished. But that dosn't mean that all the good combat engine made by Platinum games should be totally throw away.

That said, I once saw an interview of Kamiya saying that he would like to do an Spin-off featuring Jeanne for the 3DS. That really got me attracted, Jeanne has been awaken for 500 Years and is a History teacher, which means she probably saw a lot of stuff that she teaches. 

Would you be interested in a game featuring Jeanne as the main character, they could come with an original story, or pulling an Assassin Creed and tossing some important events like real world  Witch Hunts that happened and Jeanne lived.

P.S: It doesn't have to be in the 3DS, any plataform.

I wouldn't mind a offshoot. Not on 3DS though.

"Story pretty much finished?" Do you know how huge Bayonetta's lore is? They could easily make more games.

You might be right, but so many games did't make Kratos or Dante any good. They should take their time to come with something really interesting.
