cause there are more games on the older system that are worth playing, on top of that the majority of games coming out on the new systems is also coming out on the old ones too.  The ps3 gets free games each month thats the only reason i havent ditched it as the games that come out for free with PS+ are worth playing and keeping the old system.

personally i wouldnt trade in my last gen HW b/c of no B/C on this gen lot of good games from last gen worth replaying or having around plus they just dont make em like to used too, COD being one franchise that will never be the same

thy already said, that they expect lower revenue for this holiday quarter compared to last year due to new priced skus. 3 - 3.5 billion, if im right
but ofc. last year they sold 3.9m xbox one at 499

 

they will still make a operating profit

in the division yes but in terms of xboxs bringing in money or losing money they will be losing money. 

Not related to you: It's actually a bit scary for MS. If this gen lasts as long as the last or longer as i think it will the revenue brought in by hardware sales will be tiny if not a loss. They wouldn't have wanted to cut the price for at least another year if not longer and now they're looking at selling it for $299 by year two.

no the overall aim of the gaming division. But if there is something in there like the X1 giving huge loses it's not good for it no matter what you say and they won't be happy. BTW my common sense is telling me MS has lost money on the X1 product from the day they started researching it's design. And with the way sales have gone WW and the drastic fire sale type price cuts i reckon it will be many a year before they re coup the costs.

I don't need to physically be in your presence, to read countless of posts of yours in Xbox sales thread.

Calling people deluded and countering threads with PS deals, etc...

It clearly distresses you to a point where I find it "creepy", as you don't have anything to gain on this "war";
