Operation was Moonfall really a success?? I mean Im sure that didnt persuade Nintendo, they even came out and said OpRa wasnt an influence in the 3 localisations so what makes you think Moonfall was any differentfall.
If things keep going at this rate, it will be Operation Payfall, a grassroots campaign to convince Nintendo to charge its fans for access to online multiplayer. The petition will accumulate over 100,000 signatures.

What makes you think OpRainfall didn't have an influence? Do you really think they intended to release the game almost two years after the original JP release (and a very limited release at that) from the beginning?

I have to tell you—it doesn’t affect what we do. We certainly look at it, and we’re certainly aware of it, but it doesn’t necessarily affect what we do. I’ll give you an example. I mentioned earlier that our head of product development had a bet on X versus Y—we also had a bet around localizing Xenoblade.
I wanted to bring Xenoblade here. The deal was, how much of a localization effort is it? How many units are we going to sell, are we going to make money? We were literally having this debate while Operation Rainfall was happening, and we were aware that there was interest for the game, but we had to make sure that it was a strong financial proposition.
I’m paid to make sure that we’re driving the business forward—so we’re aware of what’s happening, but in the end we’ve got to do what’s best for the company. The thing we know [about petitions] is that 100,000 signatures doesn’t mean 100,000 sales.

When asked by Kotaku’s Jason Schreier about whether or not Operation Rainfall had any effect on the decision to bring The Last Story stateside, XSEED’s Ken Berry simply said, “"No, I don't believe so.”

Right but its the official source, are we supposed to believe VGC numbers when Sony reveals different official sold through numbers??
If he says it wasnt the influence then factually speaking it wasnt. Their is no evidence against what he says, just theories.

Official sources lie and spin the truth all the time. It's not a fact, it's just a claim that could very well be false.

Just like somebody could lie in court, if their is no evidence to prove he is lying then they will be found innocent.
He is innocent until proven guilty, so what he says as of right now is the fact.

That's not how "facts" work. Facts are things that are proven to be true,. There is no proof that what Reggie said was the truth.
