That means it sold less than the past hour, it has nothing to do with positions. For example the PlayStation 4 Black Friday Bundle (Lego Batman 3 and Little Big Planet 3) has always been pointing up and yet dropped places. The 3rd place Shadow of Mordor is also slowing down so it may not drop.

And the PS4 bundle still has that green arrow. I wonder how many of those bundles are still in stock o.O

I've been following amazon for years, the arrows work in daily basis. If it was third 24 hours ago it would be green for example.

i think the reason why people on neogaf had the impression that xbox was selling better it's because sony released a bigger shippement than MS.So when you go to the store and see small amounts of xboxes and bigger amounts of PS4s you think "Xbox is selling better."

That's weird BestBuy seems the most pro-PlayStation of the big retail chains at retail level, it's strange that online would be the opposite. Anyways from what I've gathered XOne cleaned house on Targets quickly, but the PS4 seems getting sold-out there too but at much slower rate, BestBuy seems to be going more for PS4, Walmart is pretty even and GameStop I've no idea. Online the PS4 seems to be selling more pretty much everywhere. All in all, I think they will be pretty even for BF, with the XOne edging it out for about 100k-250k for November. |
Idk with that white bunduru boomeranging like that also the LBP3 dukeing it out it might be close. Im thinking PS4 by 50k (Im a lil Sony Biased tho)
The Steam sale will outsell all console sales combined.

That is what I've been thinking, too. I remember Abdiel on GAF saying that he had larger shipments of PS4 bundles in his Best Buy district. Another GAF by the name of sjagolinzer said that in the Best Buy near him, there were 450+ PS4s in stock in comparison to only 150+ X1s.
thismeintiel said: Damn, if that's a true breakdown, then XBO may not stand a chance. Sure it was ahead of the PS4 on Amazon and Best Buy, but the PS4 has been ahead on Wal-mart and Gamestop everytime I checked this month. Of course, it also is looking like the PS4 is winning the Black Friday battle on every site, minus Best Buy. Though, I don't think Best Buy has been updated recently, since the PS4 Black Friday Bundles are nowhere to be seen. |
Thats a stratch to get to this conclusion.
Game stop is a big physical retailer. And I suspect the online chart is for online sales only.
Any way, all those chartz don´t feel accurated. Or do you belive there are people buying the vanila $399 PS4 on any of those sites?
Once again we will have to waite NPD report or MSONY claiming some milestone next week. Other than that we have only anedoctal evidences from retailers over the USA and blackbox online charts that no one knows exactly how they work.
Either way it dosen´t "feel" to me that either console did that great this BF. De facto the XOne got only a $20 discount from the begining of the month and $399 for the "best value" for the PS4 is still to much for mass market apeal (especialy bundled with two last generation last year remastered).
