Final fantasy x-2. Im not japanese or a feminist plus trying to get completion points sucks.

Devil may cry 2- Got it first day and couldnt believe how lame the enemies were, how the graphics got worse from the original, how the story abandoned trish, i could go on and on.

LoZ- Twilight princess (Gamecube) What can I say? Too little too late. One highlight of zelda games is the music and i didnt care for the music really, espeacially in the twighlight realm. Hated being the wolf. Didnt care for the story or Midna. Hey at least it has awesome water graphics, even compared to next gen systems...right? (It really does have good looking water.)

LoZ- The wind waker- After playing the epic's that were ocarina of time and majora's mask (My favorite LoZ) I was very disappointed with the direction that this zelda took. Hated the art direction (It look very good though), hated sailing, and then sailing, then more sailing. Hated the dungeons, hated the bosses. Its not that it was a bad game but i was just disappointed.

Id also add Super Mario Sunshine. I loved 64 (it was the first video game I ever remeber playing!), and it dissapointed me in every way.

Let me get myself on a safe place first...

maybe I am just fussy but suprised no votes for Castlevania: Simons Quest

The original Castlevania was so much better.

I wouldn't say Chrono Cross is the worst sequal... I mean, hoenstly, if you actually play through it a few things happen:

Chrono Cross' story is much larger, better, dramatic, influential and thought provoking.

Chrono Trigger's characters are evolved more, mainly the back story characters, Belthesar, Schala, Magus.

The graphics are among the best on PS1 of all time.

The soundtrack in Chrono Cross is better than Chrono Trigger, even when including the age difference.

And last but not least, (not accusing anyone here of this) most people play for 30 minutes and dismiss it as 'not trigger'. Well duh. But it IS a fabulously awesome sequal... because of the above notes.

DMC2, nuff said, glad they redeemed themselves though.

Ghost are like records, you race againts it trying to beat it, the PAL version (The hated one)  runs crappy, the NTSC version is better, well, faster, and better frame rate... thats why rol hate it, Ninty destroyed his childhood with a crappy version...
