What?

At first i wasn't sure if you were serious or not, 'cause i didn't read anything until i saw the ND. Now i know you are serious and i can't wrap my head around it.
So everyone is getting Kirby in February and Europe is getting it only in the second-half?

Again:  0_0?!?

So, Europe gets Captain Toad in January and the rest of the world gets Kirby in February. That means 1 game out in the 1Q and in the second we all get Splatoon. Which could meananything from March until May.

If that's Nintendo's strategy for the first half, good luck lifting Wii U's sales next year!   :(

Wasn't sure about Japan, but they get it on January 22nd, hahaha, nearly when we get Captain Toad (which if you noticed they moved the launch with the portuguese and spanish rls date). Its apparently a budget price, similar to Captain Toad, but over here in Europe I see Captain Toad priced normally.

Yeah, i noticed they anticipated the release date to match ours.
With the Yen worth less dollars and euros, they could maintain the normal price here and in the US to make a bigger profit on the game. Still, too soon to say. Captain Toad also had a full price and then it got changed, didn't it?

Droughts are doing more to hurt Wii U than its name and controller put together.

Bear in mind that at the investors meeting Mario Maker, Yoshi etc. were all still down as first half 2015.

They won't have been delayed in the last week or so will they? Pretty certain deliberately lying to investors is frowned upon...

Although Kirby and Smash have both been brought forward.

Hush up with taht logic!  This area has been zoned for Panic use only; it is a no logic zone!

I gotta ask: why show Kirby, which is only coming out in the second half of 2015 (as originally predicted) and why not show Mario Maker, Yoshi and Project Giant Robot?
Wasn't this supposed to be the games coming out up to Spring? Where are they?

I really hope that Splatoon at least comes out in March. With 9 games announced for 2015, at least, with one per month, there really wouldn't be droughts after the first quarter drought - which would still be very bad.

Because Kirby is being released in February everywhere except Europe.

2015 was supposed to be full of games... haha.

Calm down, they never said the direct would feature literally every game releasing in the first half of next year. I think it's very likely we see another direct in January that goes over the entire Q1-Q2 lineup. Something like this seems plausible.

Wii U-New info/trailers for Kirby Rainbow Curse/Yoshi's Woolly World/Mario Maker/Splatoon

3DS-New 3DS western reveal, new info/trailers for Majora's Mask/Codename Steam/Xenoblade/Monster Hunter 4

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

I find it hilarious people are freaking out and acting like "didn't appear=not releasing." This reminds me of when Mario Kart 8 DLC got announced and people started acting like Smash Bros was delayed and the DLC was to compensate :P . Directs aren't exhaustive, never have been.

That's not as bad as the one user who thought Pokken Tournament was proof that Zelda U was delayed to 2016 lol

For the record everyone, that wasn't me! :p

I thought it would be delayed to 2016 cos of its large scope and Nintendo's OCD level of polish.

I know it wasn't u lol and u actually have a legit reason for thinking it will be delayed; Nintendo delaying games a lot lately+hugely ambitious title. But a currently Japan only arcade title is absolutely no reason to believe a Wii U game is being delayed.

Raichu's First Series:

Official Ni No Kuni Fanboy:

I think some of Nintendo's struggles early on have partly been due to the incorrect assumption that 3rd party support would be present. They have been scrambling to deal with that mistaken belief for a while as well as get their pipeline adjusted to HD, the Wii U, etc. Hopefully that's been resolved. I also Think Nintendo jumped into this gen early, hoping to get an advantage on Sony and MS.
