Is the X1 leading the PS4 in the US right now? That would be a big fat no, so your initial prediction is wrong.... dead dead wrong. The X1 needs to overcome a 1.1-1.2 million gap as of the beginning of November. It can close the gap, but it doesn't mean much if it gets outsold in 10 or 11 of the 12 months of the year.
You need to know that there is a distinction between what you want to happen from what is actually happening. You were ridiculed because you keep claiming what you want to happen is happening.

There's a huge distinction between the Xbox business and Microsoft, as a whole company. The same applies to Playstation and Sony. You can talk about MS's profits as much as you want, but the fact that the PS4 has a huge lead over the X1 worldwide in spite of MS's spending power is very telling.

You're "very in the know".... Yeah, I don't believe you. You do know that Sony's $1.2 billion loss from last quarter came from writedowns from the mobile division? The mobile division actually made a profit, albeit a very small one, so Sony is actually profiting had it not been for the writedown, which is only a one time thing. Oh, and Sony made plenty of money from Playstation last quarter, too.
But I digress, we're talking about games here, not what a company does as a whole. Microsoft, in regards to the Xbox, is not doing well. The X1 sales from the beginning of this year is a testament to that. Meanwhile, the PS4 sold way better and more consistently. Didn't matter if MS is the 2nd largest company. PS4 crushed the X1 worldwide and achieved a 1.1 - 1.2 million lead in the US as of the beginning of November.
As for the rest of your paragraph.... non sequitors. Not interested since they're not what this thread is all about.
