Not by years end, but lifetime most definitely. The 3DS version alone will probably have over 5 million by years end, and the Wii U version should be approaching 3 million by then at least, so probably over 8 million combined, I'm thinking.

WiiU is anybody's guess, the minimum it should ship is 1.5mil, as its going to be bigger than obviously SM3DW holiday last year.

Tht said look at my Worse Case Scenario for 3ds (shipments) in the opening (also posted it on last page). I have it at 4.72mil by years end and thats if by coincidence everything just stops and does horrible.

As you can see, It would need to do pretty bad from today to jan 4th for it to ship 4.72mil, i think 5mil is easily a lock

I say your estimate is a little low and say that it will do 10.5 million shipped plus digital mostly because I believe this game will more wiiu than any other game previously released.

True. Honestly, I was just thinking 5 million physical. Including digital, the Wii U version would be over 3 million, and over all I'd put it closer to 8 million minimum, 9 obtainable, 10 a stretch. Of course, if it gets 10 million, it'll definitely involve digital, and people will try to downplay it even after Nintendo releases official numbers by saying that VGChartz doesn't have that number, or there's no way for us to be sure about digital, or there's no way for Nintendo to be sure about sold through numbers, or some nonsense like that.

personally i think it wont make it 10 million....

im thinking 4 million 3ds and 2.5 wii u..... im not sure of how fond european market on ssb... they definitely not fond of the 3ds version...hopefully they are holding back for the U version... i think SSBU will perform good in NA... but japanese market is very hesitant on the HC market.... so im calling in 6.5 million by the end of the year.... shipment + digital should be around 7.5 million

Yeahhhhhh noooooooo..... I just put up a worse case scenario, i mean i literally put up a WORSE CASE SCENERIO In the Op (6.12mil) and thats if SSB will do SM3DW level last year, and 3ds just drops completely right now, only shipping an extra 600k-800k.

Trust me, its getting closer to 10mil than 6mil for sure. :0

8mil shipped+digital? Definitely a safe bet imo. Hoping for  more!
