Heh, I've heard this "Oh it was just goodwill, its just a one time write off" talk every year and the losses still keep piling up. At one time it was batteries, then it was PS3, then it was Vaio, then it was TV.... now its mobile. Lol, I wont be suprised if Sony is making massive losses company wide and doing accounting tricks to "pile" the losses on different divisions. If you are a Sony bondholder, good luck.
