You get rated on your button mashing. The best medal (rating) I got after a level was bronze. There's like Stone, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or something like that.

I actually just completed the original Bayonetta on 360. Its a brutal game until you learn how to dodge.

It would be better if she was a normal woman and not that sexualized monstrosity.

...if it was longer, and had more bosses.
I honestly found normal difficulty a tad easy. Maybe I had just improved by a lot since I played the first game years ago, where I got many silvers and some bronzes.

Bayonetta 2 on normal is much easier than normal in the original. The game has a lot of depth in it. I am working my way up to pure platinum 3rd climax at the moment. Buying the extra skills and moves will help greatly in my opinion.

Seriously....the music during the train demo was what turned me off the most about the game. I haven't played the real game...but the fighting was boring and the music just made it that much worse. I don't know how this game is one of the highest reviewed of the generation...I'm sure it's just me. And I'm sure it helps if you're playing something other than a demo.
