Pretty self explanitory, what does a person have to do to get a friend request from you?

for me I will send a friend request to people who...

1. Share my opinions on games and consoles. (those that have spoke to me about games directly)
2. Consistently post on my threads. (perhaps someone who posts on about 5 different threads by me)
3. And people who make me laugh.

How about you guys?

I don't send any friend request. I see no point in it. I will accept friend requests though. I got one because I said the obnoxious girl on the bus who got in a fight with the driver needed to be curb stomped...

If I hurt someone's feelings, I send a friend request to show that I meant no harm. Also, if you have a history of saying things that amuse me, I send a request. That way, I can find you online and laugh at/debate your posts. Simple.

i dont really send a friend request unless i can respect them...and thats pretty rare...but if i get sent one i will gladly accept

When I want to, and for many of the same reasons that you have listed

I sent out friends request mostly to people who share my opinions on gaming and political issues.

i dont send friend requests. guess i dont understand their usefullness. I accept them though and wonder often, why the person chose to send me one. with some i understand, some i dont.

1) Any reference to V for Vendetta
2) Any reference to any old game that I like (i.e. Star Control or Sam and Max, etc. etc)
3) The avatar is of a hot chick

I send them people who share the same interests and opinions. And I send them to people who make me laugh.

i accept all friend request i love to and talk to new people online that share my interest in games.
