remote play would be nice if it didnt kill my router everything it was enabled

Both Xbox and Playstation have some good os features. Xbox OS allows much better multitasking, snaping apps while gaming, skype video, being able to que for a multi player match then going to do something else like watching the You Tube app while waiting for an alert telling you that your match is ready and also being able to be playing a game then powering off the system only to come back and the game is still running sitting right where you left it. 

Also the HDMI in is really underated for Xbox One. People just think of TV but you can plug in a cell phone, a chrome cast,  a PC or anything that has an HDMI out. I sometimes run my PC to my Xbox One which gives me my PC on the big screen in the living room in full 5.1 surround coming from my speaker system. Its the best form of PC in the living room other then having an actual pc in the living room. My PS4 in running through my Xbox One which gives me alot of the function of the Xbox One while playing the PS4.

Remote Play is something I would like to see on Xbox and Phil has already said that Family Sharing is still coming which sounds way better then Share Play imo. Both systems are great and both have a great OS.

There was litterally 3 things in there and the rest was repeated or the competition had nearly a year before.

these are great features and the only real advantages to speak of in OS gaming.

because the competition does the other things better, like i could nitpick about remote play and sharing games, saying the wiiu does remote play better but they are genuinely new and great things that are more versatile but not necessarily as good as things that already exist.

Also the PS4 messaging system is garbage it takes forever for something to send and the only way I can use it is via my phone. Youtube is also bad. Its bad on the xbox and its bad on ps4, that keyboard is just so off putting.

Reading this thread makes me want to do a side by side comparison of what both consoles can do. Kill some myths.

I read from a lot of people that the PS4 messaging system and other parts of the OS take ages to load and it gives me bad flashbacks to the PS3, where some times you could be in a game and if you made the mistake of trying to load a message when you got a notification or check the friends list, it could literally take minutes for the fucking thing to load.

sometimes it takes 15 - 20 mins to send and never shows up until you manually go check without any notification to warn you its actually there.

sheiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit lol that's even worse.

It is the servers... it is way better after 2.0 but it was painfull before that... you could read old messages instantanally but new messages or sent messages was really bad.

Before 2.0 you received the notification about the new message but it coundn't be found on the message inbox... you needed to wait some minutes to show up after the notification.

The last test I did it was fine... send and receive in seconds.

Sony needs really works that.

how is having remote play with andriod and vita, shareplay, play-go install, themes, play now, screen shots, share button a matter of opinion? its a fact. other than themes PS4 has all these advantages over other consoles. its a fact, no opinion what so ever. your post makes no sense. 

Yes, they must have screwed something up with the messaging system because when PS4 first launched the thing was instant, now it's worse than PS3. They must have screwed the code up fixing everything else.
